Nickie Nina showcased their collection “ADEENA – Generation IV” at the seventh edition of PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week. Inspired by magnificence of Eastern antiquity – from the architectural treasures of Eastern Europe to the intricate craftsmanship of Southeast Asia – Nickie Nina’s latest bridal collection is a conglomeration of cultures that celebrate the regal beauty, dynamic colours and unparalleled grace of the East.
Reimagined with a contemporary twist; delicate gotta embroidery and wasli textures surround bright and bold borders, precious pearls were intertwined amongst Turkish motifs in karchob and sequins and stones sit upon traditional chunri prints. In quintessential Nickie Nina style, vibrant pops of colour in gold, silver, royal blue, and coral were featured across the collection – topped off with rose cut diamantes for an extra air of elegance amongst gold and silver detailing.
The collection comprised of 18 designs that incorporated luxe fabrics such as tissue, atlas, kamkhuab, net tissue, velvet and chunri in a variety of structured eastern silhouettes.
“Being the founding members of PFDC, we still feel as enthusiastic to be a part of it as we felt the first year. Every time we showcase our collection at PFDCL’Oréal Paris Bridal Week, we enhance our capabilities of creating a collection. That in turn benefits our brand as we reach a huge audience by electronic media as well as print along with the audience present at the show.” – Nickie Nina
